September 23, Fiber Twist at the Coventry Farmers' Market. 11-2. Needlefelting demo at 11:45.

October 6 & 7, 10-4, Granby Artists' Open Studio Tour. I will be located in the Morgan Barn on Rt 10. Park in first lot at Salmon Brook Park (near the tennis courts) and follow the short path north of the park. Handicapped parking available at the Morgan's residence.

October 13, 10:30-4:30 Holcomb Farm Fall Festival. Raindate is Sunday October 14.

All classes are $40/hour, and may be split among the number of registered students. A materials fee will be charged for the purchase of a foam block and felting needles and to pay for the wool. Preregistration is required. Classes are capped at 5 students in my home studio and 10 at an off-site that can accommodate that large a number.

Classes by the cozy fire in my home studio are available on Thursdays. Individual tutorials for more advanced students are welcome, or bring a friend to learn something new, while you receive help on a more advanced piece.

Students will have an opportunity to create both a simple face and a more complex one. Both designs will be three dimensional. No previous experience necessary. Saturday, February 24, 2007. 10:30-4:30, The Village Wool Shop, 2279 Main St, Glastonbury. Introduction to Needle Felted Embellishment. Bring an knitted item you have fulled (handbag or hat), or a wool item of clothing like a skirt, blazer or coat. Denim is also acceptable.
